Feature 2

All seven rollers have two ball bearings each, for a total of 14 ball bearings, ensuring smooth and consistent tension.

Feature 3

Utilizes urethane rubber at the contact point with the line to reduce line slippage and minimize the transfer of friction heat from the drag to the line.

The tension roller adopts a brake structure with four carbon drag washers.

Feature 4

Guards are installed on both the “IN” and “OUT” sides to prevent the line from coming off the rollers during line winding breaks.
The “IN” side guard can be adjusted in multiple directions to align with the spool’s position.

Easily secure the tensioner to tables and more with a clamp that can be adjusted in four directions.

The clamp foot can be removed, allowing for screw attachment to wood and other surfaces (compatible with 6-mm dia. screws).

Usage 1

Secure the tensioner with the clamp to a table or similar surface.

Usage 2

Set the spool with the wound line onto the High-Speed Recycler 2.0 (sold separately, recommended) or a similar device. Thread the line through the “IN” and “OUT” rollers and pull out approximately 1-2 meters of the line from the “OUT” side.

Usage 3

Thread the line through the double rollers, starting from the bottom of the tension roller. If the clamp foot is removed, screw attachment to wood and other surfaces is possible (compatible with 6 mm dia. screws).

Usage 4

After threading the line through the tension roller, proceed to thread it through the slide roller.

Usage 5

Tighten the star drag as evenly as possible and use it according to your desired tension.


If the line and tension roller are slipping, you may improve the situation by slightly loosening the tension on the side that is slipping and tightening the opposite side.

Consumables

The consumables, urethane rubber rings, and carbon drag washers are replaceable, allowing you to use the product for an extended period.

Cautions

● Do not touch the rotating rollers to avoid the risk of injury.
● During use, the product may become hot. Be cautious of burns.
Additionally, resin parts may deform due to heat. Use the product while taking breaks to cool it down from time to time.
● After use, loosen the star drag and store the product only when it has cooled down.
● When attached to a table or similar surface, rubber marks may be left, so please take care.
● The displayed tension value is a rough estimate.
● When you insert the line into the tensioner from a spool where the line has been wound with little or no tension, there are times when the tension may not be applied effectively.
● Coated lines with low friction coefficients may slip and rotate freely on the tension roller. If this happens, you may improve it by slightly loosening the tension on the side that is slipping and tightening the opposite side.
Also, using the High-Speed Recycler 2.0 (sold separately) or a similar device to put tension of about 1 kg on the tensioner while inserting the line can be effective.
● Urethane rubber rings and carbon drag washers are consumables.
Using the urethane rubber ring in a significantly worn condition may damage the line and lead to line breakage. Check the condition of the urethane rubber ring before use.
